As a result of the two calls published last March, Catalonia International has awarded 17 scholarships for European and international studies abroad. The endowment of each scholarship is €29,000 gross.

The Director-General of Catalonia International, Laura Foraster i Lloret, has met online with the scholarship students, 9 boys and 8 girls, who are about to start the 2025-2026 academic year in the different destination universities in Germany, Belgium, the United States, France, the Netherlands, Poland and the United Kingdom.

This year, Catalonia International has increased the number of scholarships from 12 to 17. The School of Europe, one of the most prestigious European centres for European integration studies, will welcome a total of 7 students between the Bruges (Belgium) and Natolin (Poland) campuses. The rest of the students, distributed in universities around the world, have chosen topics related to human rights and international humanitarian law, international law, public policies, conflicts and social justice, economics, the environment, political communication and international affairs.

The scholarship program is part of the empowering work of Catalonia International, which contributes to promoting the training and knowledge of citizens in international relations. Since the creation of the program in 1983, a total of 347 Catalan students have benefited from these scholarships.
