Diplocat offers 12 scholarships for international studies
Call for applications opens today
The Public Diplomacy Council of Catalonia (Diplocat) opens today the call for applications for scholarships to pursue postgraduate studies in international relations at universities outside of Spain.
Specifically, for the academic year 2019-20, Diplocat offers two scholarships to study at the College of Europe of Natolin and ten scholarships for postgraduate studies related to public diplomacy, politics, law, economics and trade, diplomacy, cooperation for development, human rights and European integration, always from an international perspective.
The scholarships are aimed at students who have recently finished (the last five years) university studies in Catalonia or are currently in their last grade course. The amount of each scholarship is 25,000 euros. The call will be open from today until May 29.
Since 1982, Diplocat has awarded 275 scholarships, offering the opportunity to young Catalans to complete their international training. Last year was the only one in which the scholarships could not be convened, due to the application of Article 155 of the Spanish Constitution and the attempt by the Spanish government to liquidate Diplocat.
